they asked him: Is the film set up for sequels, or is it completely stand alone story wise?
Jerry Bruckheimer said : The story definitely stands alone, as did the first “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie. If we’re fortunate enough to have audiences respond the way they did to that film, then we’ll see what else develops
